Only QR codes are used to transfer data from the cold wallet, the QR code format is controlled, verifiable and transparent. Private keys are never transferred via QR code, only the data to create a transaction on ELLIPAL and the data of the signed transaction from ELLIPAL to your smartphone.
Supports importing mnemonics and private keys from another wallet, you do not need to trust the keys generated by ELLIPAL.
